Tea and cakes are available, as a well as plant stall, books and cards and other goodies!

Private parties are welcome by arrangement. Minimum 10 people. £5.50 per person, £6.50 with tea and biscuits.

The garden can be hired during the week for private functions, i.e. weddings, parties, film shoots, especially if your are looking for something a bit more quirky with lots of personality.

Will Giles is also happy to give lectures-slide shows on exotic gardening to groups, societies and other functions.

In recent years a new waterfall and Jungle tree house have been added to the garden, making the garden truly exotic and magical.

Brand new in 2007

Because of the dry summers which are now more prevalent than ever due to global warming, a new Xerophytic (desert) garden, with sunken paths and Italianate loggia has been created by Will Giles and his happy band of slaves, especially Craig Knight who worked diligently through the coldest weather! Although this arid garden was constructed for hot summers, it coped exceedingly well with 2007s ludicrously wet summer as it is so well drained. The new Aeonium bed went absolutely ballistic with all the rain!
